Senior Pastor, Danny Johannes is a strong vibrant preacher, musician and a great Psalmist.  He was born on 7 January 1979 from a family of 13 children.  Brought up from a very strong Apostolic Pentecostal background; he soon learned that God had a calling for his life. His father, Pastor Jacobus Johannes was one of the Oneness Pentecostal pioneers in Cape Town who evangelized the northern and southern suburbs.  The ministry of his father inspired him to be dedicated to the work of the Lord.  In 1979 Danny Johannes was ordained as a pastor in the United Pentecostal Church, Manenberg, South Africa.  He completed his 3 years Diploma in Theology during his ministry.  In 1981 he married Valda Sales who gave him 4 sons and 1 girl.  Prior to the birth of the four children he was located to start a ministry in Atlantis under the auspices of Pastor Abernathi. In 1985 he was relocated to support a local church which his father had planted in Garden Village, Maitland. He became the associate pastor with his father being the Presbyter at that time.  After 6 years in the ministry he moved to Bishop Lavis where the five children were born.  Afterwards he was sent to the Southern Suburbs, Retreat where initially started his ministry. He started with one family and held services in their house.  With the support of his father, he started to evangelize the greater part of the Southern District in Cape Town.  He continued with door to door, open air and conferences to reach the people in that area. Today his members of all areas are of:

Apart from his pastoral duties, he is currently the Bible School principal of Oneness Pentecostal Truth of South Africa.  His passion is for people and equipping them for the work of the ministry.

Alongside of him is his wife, Valda Johannes who supports her husband whole heartedly in the work of the ministry.  With such a prayerful spirit she draws many broken women to the tabernacle where they provide spiritual therapy for the needy.

God had graced this couple to minister in rural areas in order to raise up champions for Christ.
